Miller Woods

Location: Town of Rose, Wayne County

Size: 62 acres 

Description: This conservation easement consists of high-quality woodlands and a portion of a creek corridor that leads to Sodus Bay. The canopy tree species include a great diversity of hardwood and softwood species. This woodland forest is excellent habitat for small and medium-sized mammals, a variety of birds, and insects. The creek corridor provides habitat for ducks, beavers, muskrats, and fish including bass and catfish.

History: Martha and Jim Miller donated this conservation easement to Genesee Land Trust in December 2018.
