Castle Road Wildlife Sanctuary

Location: Town of Henrietta, Monroe County

Size: 50.5 acres

Description: The 51-acre Castle Road Wildlife Sanctuary provides public benefit as land forever free from development and provides wildlife habitat in a highly developed residential and commercial area of Henrietta. The open land provides habitat for resident nesting birds and wildlife. The property also protects an intermittent stream and small wetland area.

Hunting is not permitted on the property.

Please be aware that there are no trails or parking at this nature preserve and Genesee Land Trust is not a wildlife rehabilitation organization. To access the property you must park along Castle Road at your own risk.
