We will gather just before dawn for a walk to meet the sunrise on the winter solstice in the Hamlet of Ionia (Bloomfield).
On the shortest day of the year, we will walk the rolling hills and resting fields. This protected land is home to Wild Hill Farm and was conserved by Hank Stebbins.
Erin Bullock, Wild Hill farmer, will join us and share stories of the land on our walk. Gay Mills, former Executive Director, will co-lead the walk.
Dress warmly!
Directions: From the Hamlet of Mendon, travel south on Rt. 64 for 4.7 miles. Turn right on Elton Rd. Wild Hill Farm is half a mile down the road on your right.
